What is BAHA?

BAHA (short for Bay Area Homeschool Academy) is a homeschool resource program that partners with parents in the home education of their children. BAHA 6-12 is our program specifically for students in the 6-12 grades.

BAHA 6-12 offers an impressive selection of core and elective courses that are ”a-la-carte”, giving families the option to pick and choose classes that suit their needs and to create a customized schedule for their student.

All classes are held once a week, either on Tuesday or Thursday. Students will receive in person instruction from a professional teacher in a classroom setting, and be sent home with assignments, projects, papers to complete independently with aid and accountability of their parent(s) before returning to class the next week.

Student and parent participation is a requirement at BAHA 6-12. All students are expected to actively participate in each class and in turning in all assignments in order to remain eligible in the program. Likewise all parents are expected to uphold the integrity of the program at home by staying engaged in lessons and assignments with their child, holding their student accountable in all areas in order to achieve their overall success, in academics and character training.
