A Note from Mrs. Hamon:

 Greetings, sweet families!

I am writing to share about a brand new organization starting at BAHA. We now have our very own BAHA Writing Society! Students from my creative writing class have worked incredibly hard to make this idea a reality. The mission of the BAHA Writing Society is as follows: We strive to encourage each other as writers, improve our craft, and share great writing with those around us.

This society will be open to high school grades only. As we have some exciting summer events being planned like an open mic night, book store excursions, and more, we wanted to allow students to apply for membership now. This fall, BAHA Writing Society will start the year in full swing. Members will attend meetings once a month (on zoom to allow for flexible scheduling).

The society will also feature BAHA student writing once a month for all families to read and enjoy! Students from 4th grade up can submit their work for review and have the chance to be featured as a writer of the month on the BAHA Writing Society website. The writing society will also have a table set up in study hall for students who would like writing help from a BAHA Writing Society member. These are just a few of the ways this group will be making an impact at BAHA.

If you would like to apply for BAHA Writing Society membership, please fill out the application attached, and email your application and writing sample to BAHAwritingsociety@gmail.com. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or message any of our student directors on campus:
