Recommended Age Level: 9th grade and up (Spanish 1 is a pre-requisite to this course)

Curriculum: Teacher will collect a curriculum fee and provide the curriculum to the student. Purchasing a book will be unnecessary.

Materials Needed: Teacher will provide the curriculum.

Course Description: Spanish 2 is a course that builds upon the basic communication skills mastered in the Spanish 1 course. The student will be studying advanced vocabulary and grammatical concepts and will be expected to use these skills in communication within situations studied. In addition, the student will study aspects of Hispanic culture and history via a variety of media. Students will reinforce and draw upon earlier study and continue the development of their listening, speaking, reading and writing proficiencies so that they can engage in simple conversations and handle routine situations.

Zoom class: This class will include a lot of verbs, conjugation, conversation, and more that cannot be covered in just one class per week. We believe a second class is necessary and will be one-hour long on Monday 2:30 to 3:30 pm.
