Course Description:

Interior Designer is such a fun job, but it involves so much more than most people realize! In this class, we will just skim the surface of the subjects that are required for interior design majors in college. We will learn the basics of blueprints, color, wall coverings, flooring, furniture styles, architectural styles, woodwork, lighting, window treatments, space planning, art and accessories, as well as creating an original floor plan. Our final project will be for a real-life client. We will have one or two field trips in the spring semester. Field Trip time and place TBD.
