Graduation 2024

Dear Families of Seniors -
We are so excited for you and this exciting milestone of closing the “high school chapter” with your child and beginning another. BAHA graduation aims to be a unique and cherished opportunity to honor each family, parents and graduate, as they cross this finish line together. Below are some details regarding graduation that you may find helpful. Please reach out if you have any questions. And as always, thank you for letting us partner with you on your education journey.

2024 GRADUATION DETAILS 

Who: Any enrolled, qualifying BAHA student *

When: Friday May 17th at 7pm

Where: TBD

Cost: $300*


Cost Includes: Cap & Gown, Leather Bound Diploma, BAHA Yearbook, Graduation Ceremony, and Professional Graduation Picture & Video Download, and More

*Former BAHA students may participate in BAHA graduation for an additional fee of $75
*After January 15th, the cost of graduation will increase to $375

Graduation eligibility: Any senior student enrolled in at least 1 class at BAHA (including a student taking a 1 semester class at BAHA) is eligible for BAHA Graduation. Former BAHA students may pay an additional $75 fee in order to participate in graduation)

Graduation Dress Code: All graduates must dress in an appropriate and modest manner. Boys must wear black, blue, or khaki dress pants with a dress shirt and dress shoes. No blue jeans, please. A tie or bow tie is encouraged as well, but not required. Girls should wear a dress or dress pant with modest top with a dress shoe or dress sandal. Strapless and/or backless dresses and tops are not permitted, as well as short skirts or dresses. If you have any hesitation about the proper length of an item, please ask. Shorts, Flip flops, hats or any outer layer not hidden beneath the graduation gown are not permitted. Honors cords can be purchased from BAHA and will be available for those students graduating with a GPA of 3.5 or higher (college classes and BAHA classes included) and for another qualifying honors club or achievement while BAHA Beta Club members will be able to purchase a Beta Club stole to wear as well.

Graduation Conduct Code: Although it goes without saying, it is worth repeating. Proper, respectful attitudes and behavior are required at BAHA graduation. There should be no alcohol, tobacco, snuff, vaping, or drugs. And if a student fails to meet this standard, they will be denied the opportunity to participate in the graduation ceremony regardless of prep and payments a parent has made. 

Graduation Details
Graduation will be a formal ceremony with graduates and parents being honored in multiple ways. The ceremony will include a formal graduation march, a special moment with each graduate and their parents, a slide show feature, receiving diplomas on stage, a moment for each parent to admonish and address their student on stage, refreshments in foyer, senior display tables, a commencement speaker, and more. 

Yearbook
Each graduate will receive a complimentary BAHA Yearbook as a part of their graduation package. Senior ads are available for purchase and may feature photos and/or a special message for the graduate from family or friends. This is a great addition to the season of celebration and is encouraged! All senior ads should be submitted, (paid for and emailed) to: jennifer@bayarehomeschooladcadmey.com no later than April 1st.

SENIOR YEARBOOK ADS:

  • 1/4 page size ad $40

  • 1/2 page size ad $75

  • Whole page ad $100


PLEASE COMPLETE AND SUBMIT GRADUATION FORM ALONG WITH PAYMENT TO SECURE YOUR SPOT BY JANUARY 15. (after January 15th, the cost of graduation will go up to $375)
