Introduction
Cindy Schnuriger is a proud native Texan, born, raised, and employed in our greater Houston area. She has been married to her husband, Robert Schnuriger, for 46 years. They have two grown children, Callie Schnuriger and Cody Schnuriger. She currently resides in Kemah, Texas.
Her career interest lies in working collaboratively in a partnership with educational administration, staff, and community to provide the highest professional level of education and support for all students.
Mrs. Schnuriger has 36 years of successful experience in public education, curriculum development, volunteer program management, project management, sales, and marketing. She has had the pleasure of teaching Career and Technical Education (CTE) Agriscience classes for 25 years while serving as the CTE Department Chair for 4 years. Mrs. Schnuriger has had the honor of serving as the Project Manager for the NASA/CCISD Longhorn Project and the Center for Agriculture, Science and Engineering while also serving as the Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD) Lead Agriscience Teacher. Under her leadership, the Clear Creek High School CTE programs further expanded and developed Articulated College Credit (ATC) programs, programs of certifications and advanced opportunities for the the students. Her passion is in Agriculture with emphasis on livestock production, horticulture, and floriculture. Throughout her career, she has supervised countless student SAE projects. As a professional educator and child advocate, watching her students grow socially, emotionally, and educationally has always been her most rewarding experience from her professional career.
Mrs. Schnuriger currently manages a small beef cattle ranch that includes a registered Mini-Hereford, Commercial Brangus cross and registered Texas Longhorn herd. She has competitively fed and fitted numerous World Champions. She also owns a small floral event company and enjoyed designing all over the Houston and Bay Area for various events.
